仰看天空，浩大無窮，萬千天體，錯雜縱橫，
合成整個光明系統，共宣上主創造奇功：

普照萬類，至正至公，顯示上主能力無窮。
溫柔明月，清輝似銀，面向大地輕輕訴陳，
重新自述由來所因，讚美上主超凡權能；

本曲選自威爾第 (Verdi) 歌劇納布果 (Nabucco) 第三幕中第二場「幼發拉底河畔」。
【歌曲大意】：一群希伯萊俘虏，成群地被迫在河畔勞動，他們向神禱告，盼望歸鄉的日子來到，唱出 「去吧！思念，乘在金色的翅膀」(Va pensiero sull' ali dorate)。

我聽見好像群眾的聲音，眾水的聲音，大雷的聲音，說：
